Forget what Mom said and don’t use abrasive cleaners like scouring powder in the bathroom. Using this type of product on sinks and toilets cause damage to finishes. Scouring powders scratch the surface and make cleaning the next time that much more difficult. A mild solution of dish soap should be used or an organic all purpose cleaner.
